The people at Pilgrim Church are an accepting and warm group who would like to offer you an invitation to join us for worship every Sunday morning.  It is our heartfelt and sincere desire to provide a church home where you can grow strong in your Christian faith. We meet to worship the Lord, learn from Scriptures, fellowship, baptize, break bread at the Lord's Table, and pray; all in an attitude of acceptance and unity. Pilgrim Church was organized in April of 1880, and the current sanctuary was dedicated in January of 1883.  We are Denver's oldest continually in-use Congregational Church.  We at Pilgrim Church are thoroughly evangelical.  Evangelicals are Christians who emphasize the Gospel of forgiveness and regeneration through personal faith in Jesus Christ, affirm orthodox doctrine and the truth of historical biblical Christianity.  This basic Christian world view is the 2,000 year old message once delivered to the saints by Jesus Christ and His apostles, kept by the faithful through the centuries, and loyally proclaimed today by many Christians in Churches throughout the world.
